Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of KnockCV (knockcv.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. KnockCV is operated by Bunduk, Wouterkensveld 36, 5581 SC Waalre, the Netherlands (KvK 93795106).

The service

KnockCV uses AI to generate a CV and cover letter tailored to a job posting you provide. It is a drafting aid — not career, legal, or professional advice.

Your account

You sign in with your email via a magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and use the service yourself (one account per person).

Credits & payment

• The service is prepaid with credits. One CV generation uses one credit.
• New accounts receive a small number of free credits. Further credits are bought in one-time bundles — there is no subscription.
• Credits do not expire.
• Prices are shown in euros and include any applicable VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not handle your card details.

Refunds

Credits are a digital product, and refunds apply only to the credits you have not yet used. Within 14 days of purchase you can request a refund for any unused credits from that purchase. Credits you have already spent on a generation are non-refundable, because the service for those has already been delivered. For example, if you buy a bundle of 7 credits and use 6, you can be refunded for the 1 remaining credit — not the 6 you have used. To request a refund, email support@bunduk.com. If you are a consumer in the EEA, your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by this clause.

Acceptable use

• Only submit content you own or have the right to use. Do not submit other people’s personal data without their permission.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful, misleading, infringing, or abusive.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or to circumvent credit limits or rate limits.

Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of the experience you provide and of the CVs and cover letters generated for you. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service — to process your input (including sending it to our AI provider) and to store your results in your account. You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the output.

AI output — no guarantees

Generated CVs and cover letters, and any “ATS match” score, are produced by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always review and edit the output before using it. We do not guarantee that a generated CV will pass any particular applicant-tracking system, or that it will result in an interview or a job.

Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KnockCV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decisions made or opportunities lost based on the generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
